Why Edmonton Event Planners Hire Jeff
The show is built for corporate crowds.
Jeff’s material is designed for adult professional audiences. Clean, PG, and sharp enough for a boardroom or a ballroom. The show is interactive without making volunteers feel awkward, and audiences leave with an experience to talk about for weeks.
Booking is frictionless.
Jeff asks the right questions upfront, handles his own logistics, brings what he needs, and shows up ready to perform. Tech rider, contracts, and event-day timing get sorted ahead of show day, so there’s nothing to chase down at the last minute. Jeff gives event planners one less thing to worry about on their list.
Jeff knows Edmonton.
Jeff grew up in the Edmonton area and has performed at venues across the region, including the JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District, The Westin Edmonton, Chateau Louis, River Cree Resort and Casino, the Royal Glenora Club, The Derrick Golf and Winter Club, and the Delta Hotels Edmonton South Conference Centre. He’s based in Calgary, so travel to Edmonton is handled upfront and built into the quote, with no surprise charges or last-minute scrambles.

Edmonton Event Questions Answered
-
No. Jeff is based in Calgary, and travel to Edmonton is built into the quote, along with GST and any payment fees. Most bookings range from $2,500 to $7,500 CAD, depending on the size and scope of your event. If an overnight stay is needed, that gets sorted out up front, so the number on the quote is the number you pay.
-
Yes! Jeff performs in Edmonton regularly, for staff holiday parties, awards nights, association conferences, customer appreciation events, and more.
-
Absolutely. A lot of Edmonton clients book both: close-up mingling during the cocktail hour to break the ice, then a 45 to 60 minute stage show after dinner.
-
Not at all. Jeff invites volunteers rather than putting anyone on the spot, and a reserved or skeptical room is part of the fun. As one client put it: “He did an amazing job reading the crowd, especially since we had a fairly skeptical group, and brought everyone into the experience in a way that felt natural, fun, and inclusive.” - Chloe S., Sunbelt Rentals of Canada Inc.

For peak season (November and December), 4 to 12 months in advance is not unusual. For the rest of the year, most clients book 4 to 6 months out. That said, if the date is open and the budget works, Jeff is happy to take a last-minute booking. The fastest way to find out is to ask.
